Berlin - Day 1

Anyone who tells you that an 8 hour flight isn't long is a fucking liar. It's long. Very, very long. While drinking in Logan, I shot the shit briefly with a guy who turned out to be the president of iProspect, a company out of Boston. Looks like I'm probably going to ship him my resume. 2 hours in JFK was no problem. 8 hours on the plane dragged by; Bee Movie and Martian Child didn't really help. So I arrive in Berlin at 3AM EDT, 8AM Berlin time. No sleep.

Good thing to know: there are stores that sell porn immediately after you leave customs.

Anyway, after a 5 hour nap during the day, Jon and I got dinner, and "hit the town", so to speak. About 4 different bars, including "Albert's", which was a reference to Albert Einstein. It was relatively gut (no shit, that was tag line they had on the menus. You can't blame me for that gem). So we walked around a good part of Berlin, got turned away at Panoramabar for no reason, but got into Watergate. Pretty much what I was expecting for a club: it was awesome.

So pictures.
